Job Title: Generator Service Technician
Job Description
Join our team as a Generator Service Technician, specializing in maintaining and repairing generators. Responsibilities include delivering, setting up, and tearing down equipment, performing maintenance and repairs, and ensuring operational efficiency of all rented equipment. Initially, you will work locally but expect to travel across the US once trained. You will prepare and inspect machines before delivery, handle loading and unloading, and manage customer interactions from delivery to equipment retrieval. Additionally, you will maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facilities and company vehicles, complete necessary paperwork accurately, and perform preventative maintenance tasks.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Johnsburg, Illinois.
Work Environment
This position is based in a dynamic setting with three buildings including offices, a warehouse, and a shop. The role involves working outside year-round and interacting with approximately 15 team members in the rental business and more in the office. Training will be provided by technicians. Work hours are from 7am-3:30pm on the first shift, with potential for 5-10 hours of overtime during busy periods. Dress code includes steel-toe shoes, long pants, and a work shirt.
