Job Description

Overview

Perform maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, fixing plumbing issues, repairing electrical issues, and addressing HVAC problems. They are responsible for completing routine maintenance, undertaking repairs and tackling a range of other practical tasks. Their duties can include formwork, Plumbing and electrical work.

pay rate $32.00 an hour

Basic Qualifications:

+ – Must be 18 years of age or older

+ – Must possess a valid, unexpired driver’s license

+ – Must possess valid license in the state, county or city jurisdiction in which work will be performed

+ Perform electrical repairs in community areas, including lights and laundry.

+ Ensure mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed as necessary.

+ Complete general building cleaning and maintenance.

+ Install and replace floors, stairs and piping as needed.

+ Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs and other parts of the building.

+ Maintain trash and recycling receptacles around the facility.

+ Maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Five (5) years related work experiences

Responsibilities:

+ – Ability to safely use common power and hand tools

+ HVAC knowledge and repair skills

+ Experience installing and replacing plumbing systems

+ Strong communication skills with property management and tenants

+ Self-starter with good time management skills

+ – Clean, adjust and repair systems, and performs warranty services

+ – Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently

+ – Provide technical direction and on-the-job training

+ – Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions

+ – Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act

+ – Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers’ requirements

+ – Assist with customer queries inquiries

+ – Complete other duties as assigned
