This role is critical in ensuring successful and efficient contracting and a smooth transition for customers into onboarding. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detailoriented; possess excellent customer engagement and communication skills, strong negotiation skills and a thorough understanding of contract management, and the ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team.

What You’ll Do:

+ Assist in the preparation, review, and negotiation of sales contracts and agreements.

+ Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

+ Facilitate responses to customer questions during the contracting process.

+ Collaborate with legal, finance, and sales teams to address and resolve contract-related issues and questions.Provide ongoing support and advice to sales teams regarding contract terms and conditions.Maintain accurate records of contract negotiations, open discussion points, and final agreements.

+ Take ownership and accountability for the transition of the customer from the contracting phase to the onboarding phase of the customer journey, working with and through the Sales Conversion Specialist team.

+ Develop, maintain and continuously improve high-quality business processes to ensure all key information is gathered during the sales process, documented accurately in the appropriate business records, and communicated / handed off smoothly to the Early Engagement team.

+ Develop, maintain and continuously improve the customer journey from Verbal to Onboarding, in partnership with Business Development Managers; Sales Conversion Specialists; Solutions, Implementation & Deployment; and Early Engagement teams.

+ Serve as a key point of contact and resource for new customers, facilitating their journey from Verbal to Onboarding.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Contracting or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

+ Proven experience in contract negotiation and management.

+ Strong leadership and team management skills.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

+ Ability to work collaboratively across departments and functions.

+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.

+ Experience in a sales organization; travel industry or similar environment.

+ Knowledge of sales processes and methodologies

+ Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).

Location

Global

The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $70,000 to $140,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.

In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for either our Annual Incentive Award plan, which rewards participants based on company and individual performance, or eligible for one of our metric-driven Sales Incentive Plans (certain sales roles only). An eligible employee can only participate in one of these plans during an eligible period. This role is also eligible for awards under the company Equity Incentive Plan, which is designed to align participants’ interests with those of shareholders.
