In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Position IDT as a primary or preferred provider for all genomics workflows

+ Develop thought leadership network and strengthen IDT’s market leadership position.

+ Become the expert on adjacent and core Genomics markets through primary, proprietary market work.

+ Tracks and trends competitive market share for overall genomics markets and products; Develop 3 to 5 years strategic commercial growth plan for AMR business under the guidance of Sr Director, Commercial Business Development. Lead a business development team and enable field based business development managers to identify, cultivate, evolve and support closing new business with field sellers.

+ Establish relationships and develop stakeholder strategy and plan with the different predominately focusing on stakeholders including decision makers and C-Suite level to maximize IDT’s value proposition.

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ Bachelor’s degree in a Life Science or related discipline with a preference for advanced degree MBA or PhD.

+ Seven years + professional sales / business development experience with three + years in a business development role for custom oligos solutions / genomics applications.

+ Must have extensive relationship building experience to cultivate strategic collaborations with customers and partners within the research , academia and corporate environments.

+ Must have deep technical knowledge of qPCR, CRISPR, and/or NGS .

+ Must have proven track record of top performance with business development management with clear examples of driving market expansions.

Additional Requirements:

+ Ability to travel 50 % with valid driver’s license.

+ Strong financial acumen is essential for success in the role.

The salary range range for this role is $160,000 to $180,000 . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less thanthe posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
