The Senior Manager, Security Operations is responsible for service delivery of an internal Security Operations Center (SOC) as a shared service for our Operating Companies (OpCos). This role is essential to enabling the growth and maturity of our Cyber Defense organization.

This position is part of the Danaher Information Security team and will be located remotely.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Lead a global internal 24×7 shared service for the Security Operations Center (SOC) and Incident Response function, including continuous improvement initiatives for Tiers 1 – 4

+ Drive vendor and team accountability through the creation, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of oversight processes and performance reporting measures

+ Reinforce a culture of response readiness through crisis management escalation processes, preparedness reviews, and key stakeholder relationship management

+ Apply our global incident response plan to real world events, leading active threat response and cybersecurity investigations

+ Collaborate with engineering counterparts to identify opportunities to improve workflow, automate Tier 1 tasks, accelerate detection, and decrease response times through technology adoption and automation

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of directly related experience, including at least three (3) years of leading teams delivering SOC functions such as event review, investigation, incident response, and digital forensics

+ Maintain strong information security knowledge of threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures to identify and enhance threat detection and response strategies

+ Flexible and adaptive to the 24×7×365 multi-timezone demands of active threat response; reasonably includes self in the on-call rotation; meets team and response needs by being generally accessible on-demand

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent for role; specialized industry certifications such as CISSP, GIAC GSEC, GIAC GCIH or similar

+ Delivering as a leader or senior practitioner in a MSSP SOC service delivered to multiple clients / companies

+ Previous experience governing remote, global vendor teams delivering SOC and / or DFIR services

The salary range for this role is $165,000 – $180,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. #LI-Remote
