Job Description

Position Overview

Navistar’s Aftermarket Procurement Team has an immediate need for a Supply Manager. The Supply Manager is responsible for working mostly closely with the Category Managers to support their strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

+ Responsible for working collaboratively with a cross-functional internal team and the Navistar’s supply base to implement the Category Manager Team’s (CMT) commercial plans.

+ Manages the execution of contract price updates which involves collaborating with the Category Managers, Commodity Managers and Finance Team.

+ Executes RFQs to add parts to pricing contracts in alignment with CMT strategy.

+ Resolves day-to-day supply issues to ensure supply of parts to our Parts Distribution Centers (PDC).

+ Builds strong partnerships with suppliers and internal customers.

+ Facilitate new supplier set ups and Non-disclosure Agreements.

Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ At least 2 years of purchasing/procurement experience

OR

+ Master’s degree

OR

+ At least 4 years of purchasing/procurement experience

Additional Requirements

+ Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills

+ Experience with Ivalua, Peoplesoft, or related procurement software.
