The Role

The Project Manager is the primary single point of contact for large-scale deployments with significant complexity, unique requirements or that qualify as a “Special”. Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the customer’s implementation to meet scope, timing and budget expectations and overall project outcomes. This role participates in and leads the completion of complex solutions to meet customer needs & is engaged according to PMO criteria and standards.

Work Location

This is a fully remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S.

The Main Responsibilities

+ Lead and Manage : Act as the primary point of contact for complex, large-scale deployments, ensuring successful implementation within scope, time, and budget.

+ Plan and Analyze : Develop detailed project plans and manage activities throughout the project lifecycle, while providing timely progress and status reports.

+ Resource Coordination : Allocate necessary resources effectively and coordinate project meetings to ensure smooth progress.

+ Risk Management : Assess and manage potential risks and impacts, making critical decisions to steer the project towards success.

+ Performance Measurement : Set clear objectives and KPIs to measure project deliverables and timelines, ensuring adherence to policies and processes.

+ Customer and Team Focus : Serve as the customer-facing single point of contact, fostering repeat business through excellent service delivery and mentoring team members.

What We Look For in a Candidate

+ Educational and Professional Experience : Candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and/or 5+ years of related experience in the technology industry.

+ Technical Expertise : Proficiency in a range of technologies such as TDM, Transport/Waves, MPLS, Managed Services, Voice, is essential.

+ Project Management Skills : Experience leading multiple complex projects and certifications like Project Management Professional or Agile Scrum Master are highly recommended.

+ Strategic Planning : Ability to develop detailed project plans and manage people and activities throughout the project lifecycle is crucial.

+ Risk Assessment and Management : Candidates must be adept at assessing and managing potential risks and impacts to ensure project success.

+ Customer Engagement : A strong focus on customer service, with the ability to think in a customer centric way.

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee’s primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$80,510 – $107,340 in these states: AR ID KY LA ME MS NE SC SD

$84,740 – $112,980 in these states: AL AZ FL GA IA IN KS MO MT ND NM OH OK PA TN UT VT WI WV WY

$88,980 – $118,630 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$93,210 – $124,280 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA

As with the pay range variety that’s based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
