The Opportunity

Hyatt is in search of a dynamic & driven RDRM to lead the strategic and tactical initiatives that maximize revenue and profitability for the hotels within the region. In this capacity, you’ll work closely with hotel revenue leaders, sales and marketing teams, and general managers to implement effective pricing strategies, inventory management, and distribution strategies. This position works closely with complementing RVP of Sales, playing a pivotal role in focusing on a geographically diverse portfolio of assets within Latin America and the Caribbean. This position will be focused on training and development for revenue management talent, outperforming direct competitors, and helping to maintain Hyatt’s reputation as an industry leader in hospitality. The position reports to the Regional Vice President of Revenue and Analytics for the LAC region. The Role

Responsibilities directly with all stakeholders including owners, property teams, and regional teams. The role will require engaging closely with property to ensure the Strategic Revenue Plan is appropriately aligned to achieve ownership expectations. Additionally, this role will liaise between property and corporate teams to ensure the full activation of our corporate Commercial resources. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the establishment and refinement of the Strategic Revenue Plan where applicable including incorporation of a “revenue glide path” galvanizing expectations around a tangible timeline of performance improvement. Lastly, this role will be focused on driving performance to a stabilized level where continuous improvement is acknowledged, and owner satisfaction is galvanized.

-Develop and execute revenue management strategies for the region.

-Lead the regional revenue management team, providing guidance and support.

-Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for revenue growth.

-This position will aid the properties in conducting key audits around connectivity (OTA, GDS, etc).

-Conduct regular performance reviews of hotel revenue management practices.

-Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

-Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the regional revenue management team.

-Prepare and present regular reports on regional revenue performance to senior management.

-Communicate revenue management strategies and initiatives to stakeholders at all levels.

-Utilize Hyatt’s revenue management system and tools to enhance decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

-4-year college degree or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years hotel experience with a focus on Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Digital, and Operations

-Strong understanding of Revenue Management concepts, processes, and systems

-Proven skill at setting pricing and inventory strategies for group, contract, and transient segments

-Experience conveying strategy to owners, operators, senior management, or decision-makers

-Working knowledge of distribution channels

-Experience with conducting training, both on one and with groups.

Expert skills in managing and understanding all Hyatt systems related to Revenue Management. These include but are not limited to Hyatt Revenue Management Systems, Central Reservation Systems, Property Management Systems, Sales and Catering Systems, HyRes, ThoughtSpot, TravelClick, or another form of business intelligence tool

-Proven ability to manage at all levels of management

-Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and follow-up skills

-Excellent organizational, time management, and administrative skills

-Strong knowledge of spreadsheet software and other analytic tools

-Demonstrates confidence, energy, and enthusiasm

-Ability to focus on the big picture

-Fluency in English required. Spanish fluency is preferred
