The Business Intelligence Engineer 2 assists in providing comprehensive data to clinical teams who are performing outreach to members. This role solves complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to the clinical teams and the members they contact. The Business Intelligence Engineer 2 must have excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. If you are interested in combining technology and clinical information for the sake of Humana members, this position is for you.

The Business Intelligence Engineer 2 helps develop and define tools, technologies, applications, and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present an organization’s raw data. This data is then used to create insightful and actionable business applications, dashboards and reports that assist clinical staff in understanding members’ medication profiles. The Business Intelligence Engineer 2 supports department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, by pulling together data from related areas. This role makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. The Business Intelligence Engineer 2 follows established guidelines/procedures and works well with the team to cross-train. The team shares knowledge to support and improve processes overall for clinical outreach efforts moving forward.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$65,000 – $89,500 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
