Job Description

• Oversees the development and launch of this new part-time pathway in LSI under the supervision of LSI's Director and in close partnership with three other LSI team members, the Graham School Dean, and an array of external advisors.
• Partners with LSI's Associate Director overseeing candidate recruitment to build new relationships and leverage LSI's existing networks to help recruit outstanding individuals to apply for this part-time opportunity.
• Cultivates new and stewards existing relationships with faculty and staff throughout campus to ensure the part-time fellowship offers a gateway to the field-defining ideas of the University.
• Develops and oversees all aspects of the part-time program in collaboration with staff and elective faculty, including the curriculum, schedule, accommodation, field trips, and workshops.
• Supports marketing and communications for the program, in close partnership with the Director of LSI and the Graham School's Director of Marketing and Recruitment.
• Collaborates with the Director of the Master of Liberal Arts ,and others across the University, to coordinate on the offering of online audit courses.
• Leads program innovation and continuous improvement, incorporating feedback from initial part-time cohorts to strengthen future program offerings.
• Develops and manages the budget related to the program.
• Attends and closely manages the weeklong and weekend residencies of the program, which will take place on the University's main campus in Hyde Park as well as abroad.
• Recruits and hires faculty, staff, and instructors for the program.
• Develops and communicates program priorities and performance standards and assesses operations using these criteria. Plans and conducts quality assurance reviews and recommends changes as appropriate.
• Has a deep understanding when interacting with faculty, researchers and staff for committee work or information.
• Performs other related work as needed.

• Graduate degree.

• 3+ years of work experience in program development and management.
• Background in a entrepreneurial environment with continuous learning, adaptation, and realignment of priorities.
• Managing budgets.
• Liaise and build partnerships with collaborators at all organizational levels, from executive decision-makers to frontline administrative staff.
• A proven record of launching new programs in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.

• Extensive program management skills.

• Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
• Significant experience in program design, executive, and evaluation, managing multiple work streams and project partners simultaneously.
• Prioritize among myriad competing tasks often with tight turn arounds.
• An entrepreneurial mindset.
• Exceptional oral and written communication.
• Comfortable working on a 'flat' team, where all team members work at the strategy level and interface with senior-level leadership, while simultaneously conducting administrative tasks, such as stapling materials and ordering supplies.
• An understanding of higher education and the social impact sector.
