Consolidated Communications is rapidly deploying world-class fiber internet service across its 23-state footprint. You will be a part of this exciting time in our company's history and the regions we serve. We are seeking a highly skilled Analytics Data Engineer with deep skills in Data Engineering to join our team as we build a Data team within the Marketing business unit capable of capitalizing on our growth opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with partners in Marketing, Analytics, BI, and IT. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data engineering and programming, with experience in designing and implementing internal process improvements optimizing data delivery and automating manual processes.

Responsibilities

Support consumer analytics team with data engineering capabilities.
Lead the process of data transformation and loading of data from various data sources using Oracle, AWS, SQL and various ETL technologies.
Work closely with data architects, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure the efficient flow and accessibility of data for analysis, decision-making and automation.
Assembling large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements.
Ensuring the data pipeline can support the analytics team to provide actionable insight into key business performance metrics, including operational efficiency, churn and customer acquisition.
Develop and enforce data quality standards throughout the data pipeline.
Collaborate with data quality specialists to address data anomalies and issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
4+ years of experience in data engineering and programming.
Advanced technological experience in Python, SQL, Spark, and interacting with APIs, etc.
Experience with Oracle, AWS, SQL and ETL technologies.
Proficiency in SQL is essential for data management and analysis
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role
Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java and Python)
Hands-on experience with SQL and Oracle database design
