Job Description

Manufacturing Engineer: Job Duties: Research the tools, manufacturing process and methodologies to find solutions to improve productivity, quality, efficiency and cost-effective strategies. Conduct tool and space studies to identify optimal input for tooling management. Develop ergonomics and safety study and control charts. Conduct reach and serviceability studies. Generate and maintain assembly planning data. Update and maintain information in computer aided process planning application. Create 3D models using Pro-E. Validate designs, and assembly tooling and collision studies. Simulate the complex assembly process. Validate sequencing based addition, removal or change of new parts. Validate assembly operations on shop floor by applying Operations Data System standards and time study techniques. Provide visual aids for critical operations/tasks. Create and maintain time standards for work orders on application assembly lines.

Requirements: Bachelor's in Engineering (any) or related and 2 years of experience in the job offered or as a/an Design Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or in a related occupation.  In lieu of the primary requirements, employer will accept 4 years of experience in the stated occupations.  Position is based out of 3008 W. Willow Knolls Drive, Peoria, IL 61614 and may require relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
