Job Description
- Support development of all aspects of draft test plan development during FEP phase of new projects by collaborating with global R&D and quality teams (Nanjing and Hangzhou); 2. Support updates to test plans during PDP phase of new projects by collaborating with global R&D and quality teams (Nanjing and Hangzhou); 3. Support the development and approval of test plans for changes in suppliers, manufacturing locations, or cost reductions; 4. Work with development team to develop, validate, and implement new test procedures; 5. Work with FEP and PDP teams to resolve issues with procedures, results, and targets; 6. Develop safety requirements and document in Safety Book, both internal and those of outside safety agencies (i.e. Underwriters Laboratories) 7. Perform safety reviews during PDP projects 8. Review and approve test results related to safety test items 9. Perform post mortems on tested tools to determine failure modes and solutions; 10. Lead field test check-ups; 11. Attend field test meeting and communicate field test finding to PDP team; 12. Lead planning, determining requirements, and timing of field testing for new development projects; 13. Support design & development of new test fixtures for quality and product safety and validate performance; 14. Manages the updates of all CNA test procedures; 15. Support investigation on customer complaints and returns; 16. Coordinates outsourcing of tasks (ex.; metrology, metallurgy); 17. Work with MFG, PDP, and R&D engineers on implementation of quality improvements; 18. Manage product teardowns and reporting; 19. Process total warranty and matrix of failures data monthly; 20. Analyzes data by completing hypothesis, normal distribution, and process capability analysis tests; 21. Review and approval of test report conclusions; 22. Develop and implement continuous improvement programs covering quality management systems; 23. Review all FMEAs (design & process) documents for completeness and correctness; 24. Determine acceptance testing of reworked product.
