Senior Integration Developer (1 year FTC)

The primary focus of the role is to be responsible for the development and support of the migration integration tooling used as part of the RLDatix’s Workforce Management platform OneView.

The Migration Bridge is a bi-directional interface to allow transitional migration from our Legacy Platform to our new web- based platform OneView.

What You Will Do:

The Senior Integration Developer will report to a Managing Consultant within the Services team

The Senior Integration Developer is a ‘hands-on’ member of a multi-disciplinary Agile team responsible for a specific area of the RLDatix Human Capital Management stack. This key role is accountable for delivering high-quality software design and development as part of a broader team with a specific focus on engineering excellence, timely delivery, and high levels of quality.

This role will include liaising with internal and external stakeholders and how they work together.

A crucial part of the role is Delivery:

  • Reviewing, refining, estimating, and prioritizing functional changes in close collaboration with the colleagues leading to high-quality committed deliverables.
  • Producing clean and efficient code adhering to relevant patterns and standards
  • Making informed decisions and taking ownership of project outcomes
  • Engaging in design and review processes as both an author and reviewer
  • Performing verification and validation to ensure product backlog items are complete before handover to colleagues
  • Completion of testing of core functionality and compatibility of configuration following upgrades
  • Reviewing and debugging code associated with product backlog items
  • Troubleshoot customer production issues
  • Accommodating non-functional outcomes incorporating scale, security, deployment and operability considerations
  • Ensuring relevant documentation is produced and accessible
  • Ensuring, in collaboration with colleagues, that ‘Definition of Done’ is achieved for all items

Additionally, this person will be responsible for:

Teamwork & Collaboration:

  • Actively engaging in all release planning and preparation activities
  • Effectively communicating within the team and beyond into other teams that could be impacted by development decisions and activities
  • Providing technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to project team members.
  • Providing relevant technical leadership
