Job Description

Setting and operating operation machines and overseeing operators. Ensuring quality on the production of components according to the drawings Promoting and ensure safety on all jobs at all times. Daily monitoring of crews and production tracking utilizing software Mentoring and training employees. Milling – Programing, set and operate milling machines, inspecting work and recording the results to ensure the required quality is maintained. Responsible for operating controls: Inspects first part and work pieces throughout the production run for out-of-tolerance machining, inspection of quality parts. Responsible for the correct setting work holding fixtures, debarring. Blueprint reading. Monitoring the feed and speed of machines during the machining process. Detecting equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machine and adjusts machine. Inspecting materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. Planning and establishing work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals. Directing and coordinating the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods, such as inspectors, machine setters, or fabricators. Calculating labor and equipment requirements and production specifications, using standard formulas.
