Position Summary: Assist Southeast Senior Sales Manager to drive sales growth and build strong customer relationships. You will represent our company's products/services to existing and prospective clients, as well as managing a network of brokers that support our sales goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets by making sales calls to grocery store groups and distributors. This includes making sales and new item presentations.
Customer Relationship Management: Develop an understanding of customer needs and preferences.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and trends.
Promotional Planning: Create promotional planners to execute company and brand initiatives.
Collaboration: Work closely with the other sales team members to align sales strategies with company objectives and product offerings, as well as our customer service and operations teams.
Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records and reports using internal sales software, providing regular updates on sales activities and forecasts.
Budgeting: Manage and process promotional budgets, including check requests, and customer deductions.
Travel: Travel 50-60% with company car with approximate 3 overnights a week in peak season.
Qualifications:
Proven track record in sales, ideally within consumer goods industry.
Strong presentation and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Basic MS Office intermediate skills in Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
Must have the physical ability to address customer as well as company needs. Needs to include extensive travel, food show attendance and in-store work.

Remote Position- Preferred if individual lives in Charlotte, NC but open to Southeast area.
