Overview

Starting pay for this position is $17.14/hour.
POSITION SUMMARY: Reports to Supply Chain Management. This position may perform a variety of duties including but not limited to; check and restock supply carts, fill orders and distribute supplies throughout the Medical Center, perform courier duties, restock inventory, enter inventory counts, receive/ship supplies, collect weigh and affix postage to parcels, assemble traction, transport patients/items, properly labels supplies, and enter patient charges. Perform clerical duties such as answering telephones, taking and relaying routine information, and completing necessary documentation.
Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
.  Ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations, in order to check and restock supply carts, fill orders, take and relay information.
. Complete documentation at a level normally acquired through completion of high school education. Ability to read in order to transcribe data and/or enter data into computer terminal, to write in orders, to take orders from phone calls.
. Follow oral and written instructions in adhering to established work priorities. Work requires ability to proofread and check documents for accuracy on a daily basis.
. 6 to 12 months experience in performing clerical duties is desired. Must have the ability to learn terminology and procedures to complete assignments.
. Ability to operate a computer and give simple commands to computer at a basic level normally acquired through previous experience or completion of a basic computer course.
. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record when functioning as courier.
