Position Overview

Navistar Financial Corporation (NFC) has a great opportunity for a Vice President of Sales who plays a key role in delivering financing capabilities and fostering dealer relationships that create the foundation for continued growth at NFC. The individual will manage the NFC Sales Team, will be the primary contact for developing programs to support new and used bus and truck sales, will be responsible for implementing appropriate business sales strategies with a focus on maximizing organizational profitability targets.

Responsibilities

- Supervise the sales managers, assisting and providing oversight to their management of sales teams; including establishing individual goals, managing performance and mentoring - Work cross functionally to develop joint sales programs - Develop market strategy to grow market share and deliver sales objectives - Exhibit leadership through demonstration of: advanced credit knowledge, excellent personal sales capabilities, expert sales tactics and elevated customer relationship management skills. - Design and implement Salesforce instance to be used in creating and managing sales funnel - Demonstrate leadership to your sales team by guiding strategic account level business plans - Ensure team is qualified and proficient in sales and credit related competencies and capabilities to serve their market. - Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide consistent feedback to the organization on the needs of potential customers and partners. - Expand NFC’s presence to drive new business opportunities - Build and maintain relationships with dealers, strategic customers and partners

Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ At least 12 years of sales experience and/or product knowledge

+ At least 4 years of management experience

OR

+ Master’s degree

+ At least 10 years of sales experience and/or product knowledge

+ At least 4 years of management experience

OR

+ At least 14 years of sales experience and/or product knowledge

+ At least 4 years of management experience

Additional Requirements

+ Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

- Prior experience with a bank or finance company - Demonstrated track record of sales success Demonstrated credit aptitude - Understanding of the transportation industry - Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve desired results - Must be consultative - Possess strong verbal & written communication skills - Strong computer proficiency and ability to work with various software programs (Microsoft Office, Salesforce, etc.) - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth and ever-changing environment - Open to travel up to 50%
