In this role, you will:
+ Leverage solid understanding of the functions, policies, procedures and ensure activities are in compliance with AAR and FRA regulations and requirements and US DOT regulatory standards
+ Review and approve freight car repair estimates and invoices to facilitate the repair and maintenance of the Wells Fargo Rail fleet through a significant third party repair network.
+ Participate in complex initiatives and deliverables within Rail Operations that impact the existing and new rail car and fleet assets
+ Contribute to large-scale planning to multi-functional deliverables, recommend enhancements and procedural changes to maximum operational efficiency, quality, compliance and tooling enhancements
+ Review moderately complex business, and operational challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
+ Provide guidance and subject expertise to less experienced team with interpreting and understanding complex Association of American Railroads Interchange Rules and Recommended Practices and internal company policies and procedures
+ Independently resolve moderately complex issues and lead team to meet functional area process deliverables
+ Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
+ 4+ years of Rail Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
+ Experience with the repair and maintenance of freight and tank cars as governed by AAR Rules and FRA Regulations
+ Proficient with Microsoft Excel for the purpose of analyzing and presenting data
Job Expectations:
+ Ability to get on and off equipment safely
+ Capable of walking on uneven surfaces
+ Hybrid work schedule. Must be able to work from the approved job posting locations four (4) days in office & one (1) day remote.

Salary Range by Location:
+ Rosemont, IL- 80,400.00 – 143,000.00 USD Annual
Salary range is determined by location of the job. May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights, or other long-term incentive awards.
