532268 Remote Service Engineer

You are a part of a cohesive remote service team based in the US. A high performing team that independently serves our customers but supports each other to deliver results. A team with the energy of a start-up but the processes and tools of a mature company.

Your role:

+ The Remote Service Engineer is the ambassador of Philips Digital Pathology ensuring that all customers are satisfied while meeting or exceeding our business targets.

+ Receives, registers, and provides technical service to the requests or problems coming in from all medial channels and communicates solutions or actions acting in accordance with our regulatory guidelines.

+ Solutions are provided by using Remote diagnostics, troubleshooting techniques, service technical information or knowledge, work orders creating service and keeping the customer informed of the service status.

+ Focuses on Remote Resolution, where this is not possible provides a clear action plan, with parts (if required), and

+ diagnosis before dispatch

+ Handles complaints (safety & non-safety related) & Escalations to ensure accurate and timely analysis, registration and action.

You’re the right fit if:

+ Education: 4 year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related field preferred

+ Experience with Microsoft Server, VMWare, and Microsoft SQL required

+ Engineer/Network Engineer/Microsoft Certifications desired

+ Minimum 4 years of related experience

+ Minimum 2 years prior experience in a remote support customer facing role

+ Competent in IT/Network diagnosis/system connectivity/Remote service essential

+ Healthcare experience desired

+ You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position.

Philips Transparency Details:

The pay range for this position is $30.79 to $52.79, hourly. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
