The Opportunity:

+ The Data Wrangler position, which is a hybrid position, is a great opportunity for someone to enhance his/her technical eDiscovery experience.

+ The position allows you to follow eDiscovery best practices that focus on verifying complex client requests, staging of data, processing data, quality checking database loads, and deliverables while using applications like iPro, Relativity, and copying and encryption software.

+ On the job training will be provided, this position is ideal for eDiscovery IT professionals looking to develop and improve their technical skills.

+ You will be exposed to data in various forms and learn to manipulate large data sets as they progress through complex workflows.

Responsibilities:

The Data Wrangler works independently and operates under the direction of more senior contractor staff. The position is part of a high-performing team handling a very large amount of data. Additional responsibilities include:

+ Performs tasks as assigned and communicates with the Case Manager as needed.

+ Performs advanced tasks related to exporting data from iPro and Relativity databases, including identifying data for export, confirming redactions and other markups were properly made, ensuring that exports comply with applicable production specifications, and quality checking the exported data.

+ Performs file manipulation, loading, conversion services, exports, and productions and quality checks of loads and exports.

+ Creates and modifies files as required for loading into Relativity and performs individual file conversions in support of electronic file processing.

+ Is responsible for ensuring that incoming productions are made pursuant to the applicable production specifications, and when deficiencies are found, provides the Case Manager with detailed notice of deficiencies.

+ Performs loading of productions, database indexing, and quality checks of loaded data.

+ Responsible for ensuring that incoming productions are made pursuant to the applicable ESI specifications and when deficiencies are found, provides EPC Manager with detailed notice of deficiencies.

Qualifications:

Required:

+ Requires knowledge of litigation discovery process, and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow.

+ Knowledge of Government’s IT environment, including office automation networks, PC and server-based applications preferred.

+ Working knowledge of personal computers, including Windows, document review software, and encryption methods.

+ Strong Experience Relativity and iPro

+ At least five years’ experience performing eDiscovery roles including but not limited to electronic files processing (EFP), image and data file conversion, data culling using review tools, quality assurance, database loads and retrieval, and data analysis.

Desired:

+ Undergraduate degree preferred-preferably in computer science or related field.

+ Coursework in technical disciplines (programming/scripting, systems administration, and database management).

+ Ability to perform quality control analysis and report any issues with the data.

+ Ability to work in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment.

+ Excellent attention to detail, and ability to perform tasks accurately and quickly.

+ Customer-focused, congenial, professional attitude for working on site with government clients.

+ eDiscovery experience and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, similar to the duties and responsibilities described.

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay Range:

This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.?

Minimum Req uired Hourly Wage:

$27.32
