CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Cloud Infrastructure & Security Engineer opening for our client in Chicago, IL.
Location: Chicago, IL (hybrid remote)
Duration: 6 months
Duties:
+ Responsible for implementation and support of Corporate Enterprise Messaging and surrounding systems (i.e. MS Teams, MS Exchange Online, Mimecast, and Symantec DLP email servers), Intune App Policies
+ Lead in the planning, design, implementation, and support of Cisco switching and routing implementations (protocols like BGP, EIGRP, etc.)
+ Participate in the planning, design, implementation, and support of Azure Cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
+ Experience with design and deployments of Server farms and service environments in the Cloud (i.e. Linux, MSFT, IaaS, PaaS).
+ Maintenance and evolution of Identity management (i.e. Active Directory, Cisco ISE, Intune).
+ Participate in the planning, design, implementation, and support (including patching and config changes) of our VMWare infrastructure.
+ Experience with DR and replication technologies such as Azure ASR.
Required Skills:
+ Strong knowledge of Cloud-based (and on premise) Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory (Azure), Storage, M365 suite
+ Minimum 5 years’ technical solutions implementation, architecture, evaluation, and investigation in Azure (AWS +)
+ Experience with on premise data center to Cloud migrations for infrastructure and applications
+ Experience with Infrastructure monitoring and SRE practices
+ Intermediate knowledge of VMWare (HA, DRS, vCenter) and building Windows/Linux infrastructure
+ Exposure to several infrastructure technologies including:
+ Cisco UCS, ISE, and Wireless
+ EMC SAN’s
+ Checkpoint Firewalls
+ MDM
+ Various security technologies
+ Experience using Confluence, JIRA, and Service Now systems
+ Ability to solve complex business process through technology solutions in Prod, UAT, and DEV environments
+ Proven ability to self-manage small to medium sized projects and proven excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
+ Self-motivated with the ability to effectively multi-task while possessing a strong attention to detail
+ Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
Preferred Skills:
+ Experience with supporting Big Data, analytics, DevOps in the Cloud
+ Incident management exposure and participation
+ MS Azure Cloud Certifications and data center migrations
+ Hands on experience with automation tools/or programming (i.e. PowerShell, Terraform, Chef, Kubernetes, Puppet, Python, Ansible)
+ Working knowledge of enterprise Storage (EMC), Load-balancing (F5), and DNS solutions
+ Working knowledge of MDM (Mobile Device Management) and Identity Management Solutions
+ Demonstrated positive direct and indirect influence on team(s)
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
