Project Architect

Job Description

An Architecture and Engineering firm in the suburbs of Chicago is looking to add a Project Architect to their team!

Job Description:

+ Communicate with PMs, junior architects, engineers, and designers to develop drawings and designs

+ Produce construction documents on a variety of projects from conceptual design to construction administration while applying architectural concepts and designs

+ Will be leading a team of two to three designers

+ Will be doing code research and analysis

+ May assist with interior development for certain clients

+ Coordinating with Project Manager’s to work on scheduling, forecasting deadlines/projects, etc.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor of Architecture

+ Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit

+ 10+ years of experience working at an architecture firm

+ Ability to produce full construction document sets with little to no guidance

+ Experience working on multisite commercial projects highly preferred

+ Licensed Architect is highly preferred
