Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description

As a Controls Engineer, you will play a crucial role in commissioning and FAT Testing of new pilot automation within our facilities. This position involves frequent travel to various facilities, allowing for a flexible home-base location. Your responsibilities will include working independently and collaboratively with internal and external engineering teams to deliver cross-functional projects that adhere to high quality standards such as being on-time, on-budget, maintainable, and having low defects. You will partner with project managers and external vendors to set project priorities, establish milestones, and drive schedules to meet deadlines. Additionally, you will influence technical documentation, review system layouts and solutions, represent system/equipment designs, communicate project statuses, develop quality and performance test plans, and lead process improvement initiatives in support of operations teams.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 2 years.

Work Site

This is a fully remote position. 75% travel

Work Environment

The role allows for work from home days focusing on documentation, while travel days involve on-site responsibilities like FAT Testing, Pilot Testing, and Controls troubleshooting of new automation prototypes. Travel requirement is 50%-75%.
