job summary:

An Quality Technician in the Carol Stream, IL area is needed for a multinational power management company. The Quality Technician supports the PPAP Technician in ensuring compliance with AIAG and customer requirements by maintaining data, validating material certifications, assisting with documentation, and troubleshooting quality and metrology issues.

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:

+ Assist the PPAP Technician with PPAP deliverables.

+ Maintain and review data against specifications.

+ Retrieve and validate material certifications from suppliers.

+ Assist with creating and updating work instructions and documents in PLEX ERP.

+ Maintain master samples.

+ Retrieve, weigh, and photograph samples.

+ Perform other duties as assigned by Quality Management.

Skills:

+ Ability to read blueprints, technical data sheets, and schematics.

+ Knowledge of quality and metrology.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PDF readers (Word, Excel, Adobe/Firefox, Outlook).

Education: High school diploma or GED.
