Job Title: Microbiologist

Job Description

The microbiologist will perform day-to-day quality control microbiology tasks in compliance with USP, GMP, and FDA guidelines. Responsibilities include preparing and autoclaving media and reagents, conducting microbial testing using aseptic techniques, ensuring lab cleanliness and equipment maintenance per sterility guidelines, maintaining media and supplies stock, reviewing data, upkeeping samples, and communicating quality data.

Hard Skills

+ 1-2 years experience in a microbiology lab

+ Experience with basic microbiology techniques such as media preparation, autoclave, and aseptic technique from a GMP environment.

+ Prior knowledge and experience with USP methodologies is a plus.

Soft Skills

+ Communication skill

+ Self motivated and able to work with minimal direction
