Growing law firm located downtown Chicago is currently looking for a dedicated Personal Injury Paralegal to join their growing team. The law firm takes pride in providing excellent legal services to their clients and helping them navigate through the legal system. Responsibilities:

+ Assisting attorneys in the preparation and filing of legal documents.

+ Managing client files, including maintaining client contact information and legal documents.

+ Conducting and documenting client interviews and case facts.

+ Coordinating the discovery phase of litigation, including maintaining deadlines, organization of documents and coordinating with opposing counsel.

+ Drafting pleadings, legal correspondence, affidavits, and other legal documents.

+ Collaborating with attorneys to prepare for trials.

+ Utilizing legal software for tracking case progress and maintaining organized case files.

+ Managing and meeting all court and client deadlines.

Requirements:

+ Paralegal certification or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

+ A minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, specifically in Personal Injury law.

+ Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.

+ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

+ Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.

+ Familiarity with legal research software and case management software.

+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
