is served through a unique tap system to showcase the company’s commitment to
sustainability.

Position Summary

Dishwashers are
responsible for cleanliness, organization, and sanitization of all flatware,
tableware, dishware, pots, pans, equipment, and actively performing cleaning
and maintenance tasks in all areas of the building in a safe manner.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work
outdoors on the beautiful Riverwalk in Chicago. This role is a full-time,
SEASONAL position anticipated to end around early December.

Minimum Qualifications

+ Prior experience as adishwasher and ability to handle high volume, fast paced work load in arestaurant environment preferred

+ Working knowledge of healthregulations, sanitation procedures and ability to safely work withcleaning products

+ Strong work ethic, team player,and exceptional guest service skills

+ Effective communication andinterpersonal skills with a proven ability to build positive relationshipswith people in the scope of employment

+ Aptitude to resolve problems

+ Polished presentation

+ Ability to take direction fromothers

+ Ability to work bothindependently and in a team environment

+ Ability to work a flexibleschedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

+ Ability to perform physicalrequirements of the role including standing/walking for entirety of shift,bending, pulling, pushing, using stairs, lifting and carrying up to 75pounds.

Overview of Responsibilities

+ Responsible for cleanliness andsanitization of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, utensils andequipment through manual and machine cleaning methods, and activelyparticipating in cleaning and maintenance in all areas of the building

+ Scrape and sort dishes beforeloading them into a dishwashing machine for cleaning

+ Monitor dish machine watertemperature during sanitary wash cycle

+ Unload dishwashing machines,sort, put away all items in proper storage units

+ Maintain cleanliness, safety ofall work areas, and operate all machinery in a safe manner

+ Sweep and scrub kitchen floorsto ensure a clean and tidy work area

+ Remove garbage and discard indesignated area/ dumpster regularly

+ Maintain adequate levels ofdetergents and other cleaning supplies

+ Stock supplies such as fooditems and utensils in kitchen and storage areas

+ Use hand trucks to movesupplies or equipment from a storage area to work area

+ Maintain dishwashing machineand report any mechanical faults to management

+ Stock and arrange kitchenutensils and dishes in an orderly manner

+ Handle glassware and otherfragile tableware to prevent breakage

+ Use designated rags to polishall glass and stemware to remove streaks or spots, as requested byManagement

+ Attend staff meetings as needed

+ Exhibit hospitality and providepositive guest experience when involved in guest-facing interactions

+ Follow all company policies,procedures, and guidelines including being ready to work at scheduledshift time, in uniform, with neat and presentable appearance.

+ Perform all other reasonablyassigned duties.
