Job Title: Insurance Salesperson

Pay: Salary plus commission DOE

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and driven Insurance Salesperson to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As an Insurance Salesperson, you will be responsible for generating new business, building lasting relationships with clients, and helping them find the right insurance solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Business Development:

2. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.

3. Client Consultations: Conduct detailed consultations with prospective clients to understand their insurance needs, explain policy options, and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.

4. Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients, demonstrating the value and benefits of our insurance products.

5. Customer Relationship Management:

6. Building Relationships: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

7. Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and offering ongoing support throughout the policy lifecycle.

8. Policy Management:

9. Application Processing: Assist clients with completing insurance applications, gathering necessary documentation, and ensuring accuracy in all paperwork.

10. Policy Updates: Keep clients informed about policy updates, renewals, and changes in coverage, making recommendations as needed.

11. Target Achievement:

12. Sales Goals: Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas set by the company. Track and report on sales performance and progress towards goals.

13. Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions to effectively position and sell insurance solutions.

14. Compliance and Documentation:

15. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant insurance regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.

16. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy details, and sales activities in the company’s CRM system.

Qualifications:

+ Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.

+ Experience: Previous experience in insurance sales or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Proven track record in sales or customer service is highly valued.

+ Licensing: Insurance license required or willingness to obtain one within a specified timeframe.

+ Skills:

+ Sales Expertise: Strong sales skills with the ability to close deals and meet targets. Persuasive communication and negotiation skills are essential.

+ Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service and building client trust.

+ Organizational Abilities: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities effectively.

+ Problem-Solving: Ability to identify client needs and provide solutions in a proactive manner.

+ Tech Savvy: Proficient in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software

Salary and Benefits:

+ Compensation: base salary plus commission

+ Monday to Friday 8:30-5
