Job Title: Order Processor

Job Description

As an Order Processor, you will be responsible for creating and receiving purchase orders, maintaining records, processing online orders and payments, and sending out orders. You will handle clerical duties, operate office machines, manage incoming and outgoing mail, update online pricing and inventory, and ensure metrics are met on selling platforms. Additionally, you will interact with customers to provide support and information, handle requests and adjustments, and build customer rapport to ensure excellent service. You will also create inventory reports, manage accounts payable, and confirm credit status as required.

Hard Skills

+ 1+ year of order processing experience

+ Basic proficiency in MS Outlook and Excel

+ Experience with HVAC products

+ Experience using QuickBooks

+ Ability to type 40-50 words per minute

+ Proficient computer skills and ability to learn database and ordering systems

Soft Skills

+ Excellent organizational skills

+ Attention to detail

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

+ Ability to maintain good customer relations

+ Service-oriented

+ Ability to resolve customer grievances

+ Ability to function well in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment

+ Excellent retention on product knowledge and training

Job Type

This is a long term contract-to-hire position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Johnsburg, Illinois.

Work Environment

This role requires working in-office from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM. The office environment includes the presence of three large dogs, so comfort with animals is necessary. The role is predominantly administrative and order processing-focused, with a smaller portion dedicated to client and manufacturer communication.
