Multicraft Maintenance Technician
(Maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems)
Shifts Available: 2nd (2-10pm), and 3rd (10pm-6am) in a manufacturing environment.
+ Maintain, test, and repair electrical/electronic, PLC, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components.
+ Perform basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance tasks.
+ Troubleshoot and repair equipment including motors, pumps, PLCs, and numerical controls.
+ Conduct quality inspections and maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
+ Provide technical support on PLCs and network interfaces throughout the manufacturing floor.
Background Requirements:
+ Experience: 5+ years in maintenance within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
+ Skills: Proficient in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; strong troubleshooting and assembly skills.
+ Knowledge: Familiar with Lock Out Tag Out safety procedures and company policies.
+ Abilities: strong communication skills, self-motivation, capable of working from heights and in confined spaces.
+ 3+ years of experience in PLC and HMI configuration and programming preferred.
+ Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
+ Proficient computer skills and knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
+ Experience with plastics/blow molding preferred.

Responsibilities
Multicraft Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for supporting the maintenance and repair of all production equipment and physical plant equipment within the facility. This includes:
+ Perform duties safely, report potential dangers to the supervisor, and comply with all safety practices, including PPE usage.
+ Start up and shut down equipment according to safety and operational requirements, performing basic and advanced mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance.
+ Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment, including PLCs and network interfaces, ensuring minimal production disruption.
+ Disassemble, move, and install new and existing equipment, ensuring proper setup, calibration, and operation.
+ Maintain daily work logs, update equipment records, and adhere to preventative maintenance and lubrication schedules.
+ Provide technical support for PLCs, develop training programs for control systems, and train others on maintenance activities.
+ Inspect and maintain building systems, including heating and cooling, and ensure safe disposal of toxic materials.
The essential functions of this role include:
