Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler in Hillside , IL.

This is a contract to hire opportunity, meaning you will get hired directly after 3-4 months, depending on your performance and attendance.

Pay: $20-24/hr., depending on experience

Hours: Mon-Fri 7:30am – 4pm

Responsibilities:

+ Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

+ Must be able to read and interpret blueprints

+ Able to use power tools and hand tools to assembly different types of products to meet specifications

+ Able to work self-motivated under minimum supervision

+ Able to work in standing position for most of the workday

+ Work from orders, drawings, and specifications to determine operational sequences

+ Able to identify product using drawing (blueprints), caliper, micrometers

+ Test completed products for tightness and operations following established test procedures and methods

+ Detect and report defective material to Quality Control or supervisor

+ Prepare test reports

+ Understanding drilling and taping

+ Able to use engravers, markers

+ Keep and maintain safe, clean, and orderly work area

Qualifications:

+ Experienced with Measuring equipment

+ Minimum of 1 year experience as a Machine Operator/Assembler
