Job Description

PDS Tech Commercial, in partnership with an industry leader in electromechanical, manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain solutions is looking to add to their production team of Mechanical Assemblers in the Freeport market. Pay = $21.50/hour
Shift = 2nd shift
As an Mechanical Assembler, you will perform manual assembly, operation of automated assembly equipment, operation of automated test equipment, and inspection and repair of products. In addition, you may perform machine and line setups, feeder repairs and first line preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities for the Assembler roles include:
+ Basic to complex assembly
+ Required to work with a variety of materials: steel, sheet metal, aluminum, brass, solvents, oils and abrasives
+ Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications
+ Use of hand and power tools
+ Report defective material or questionable condition to production department supervisor
+ Maintain the manufacturing work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
Qualified candidates must have :
+ High School Diploma/GED required
+ 1 year related experience preferred.
+ Ability to read and understand verbal and written instructions in English-language, read blueprints, drawings and schematics

Pay Details: $21.50 per hour
