Job Description
Job Summary
Responsible for visually inspecting filled product off the filling line following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMP). The production inspector will work in the Capping Department and on the off-line inspection area and therefore must be knowledgeable of procedures and equipment in each area.

Visually inspect products for various defects.
Document work accurately and timely.
Comply with current SOP's and cGMP's.
Set-up, adjust, and operate equipment such as inspection machines, cappers, etc.
Perform and document critical start-up procedures for filling operation such as filter integrity test, line clearance, component verification, etc.
Perform and documents quality checks on product.
Calculate percent defective on inspection results and reconcile components on batch record.
Load and unload vials from turntables. Stack, wrap and move pallets of product.
Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma / GED
One (1) to three (3) years' experience preferred
Basic math skills to perform required calculations (multiplication/division).
Visual ability to detect defective vials.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Must maintain acceptable visual acuity.
Must be able to maintain visual inspection qualification requirements.
