Overview

Expected pay for this position is $52.66 - $69.77/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Government Reporting provides direction, leadership, consultation and expertise in the delivery of large and highly visible project initiatives for operational areas of reimbursement for the Ministry. The Director directs and develops a team of reimbursement consultants and analysts and oversees multiple muti-functional/interdisciplinary teams, providing technical specialized leadership and guidance in directing projects and managing deliverables. The Director serves as an escalation point in the resolution of issues and barriers. Position requires critical relationship, collaborative and consensus building skills in interfacing with executive leaders, key stakeholders and decision-makers. Provides broad based knowledge and experience in multiple operational areas of reimbursement. Provides direction for highly complex analysis, issue resolution, and in the development and implementation of technical standards, methods, policies and processes. Project work is strategic and reflects a wide scope of impact requiring leadership and ability to drive change management through the organization. Develops alternatives in response to short- and long-term strategic business needs. Represents OSF Healthcare at various meetings and conferences and may be required to present on occasion.
Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field, accounting, business or finance.
Experience:
7 years healthcare reimbursement experience.
Licensure/ Certification: N/A
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Master's degree or Certified Professional Accountant (CPA)
Experience:
10 years' experience in related leadership position
Licensure/ Certification:
Certified Professional Accountant (CPA)
