Edelman DXI is seeking a Data Scientist to join our growing team in any geography where we currently have offices. This person will work to help drive our predictive analytics business by developing and delivering econometric solutions and statistical applications for a variety of business use cases. In this role, you will contribute significantly towards client deliverables, help develop new analytical approaches and offerings, and mentor more junior team members.

Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the leadership of day-to-day project execution, including client deliverables, status updates, and project management
    • Use a range of data science techniques to identify insights for our clients and inform decision-making
    • Consolidate, clean, and re-structure data from multiple disparate sources to prepare them for analytics
    • Craft stories from analytical insights and prepare client-facing materials
    • Manage data science projects from end to end
    • Collaborate with client and internal teams to understand business needs and design solutions
    • Develop standardized code and processes that can be easily used by colleagues. Self-documenting code with clear variable names, commenting, and organized structure is essential
    • Support senior staff in the development of client proposals
    • Mentor junior data science team members



Basic Qualifications:

    • BS or MS degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative discipline
    • 4+ years experience with data science techniques such as regression, clustering, factor analysis, and optimization
    • 4+ years experience with a statistical programming language. Python preferred but R, SAS, etc. can be considered if willing to learn/transfer to Python to collaborate with the larger team
    • 3+ years experience with consolidating, cleaning, and re-structuring data



Preferred Qualifications:

    • Excellent organizational and communication skills, coupled with the ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments, and deadlines
    • Experience with project management, client management, or cross-functional collaboration
    • Knowledge of marketing or workforce analytics
    • Experience with Python or another statistical programming language
    • Experience with Tableau and PowerBI



$69,000 - $108,000 a year

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
