We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Native Sales Director to join a growing team and contribute to the success of our sales efforts across the Yahoo Network. As a Native Sales Director, you will be responsible for building and nurturing strong agency and client-direct relationships by providing strategic guidance. Your primary focus will be on selling native solutions to clients, helping them achieve their marketing objectives and driving revenue growth for Yahoo.

Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Revenue Generation:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and target potential clients, including advertisers, agencies, and brands, to promote the value and benefits of Yahoo's native solutions.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads and opportunities to ensure consistent revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and senior management to create effective sales strategies and tactics.



Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations, acting as their trusted advisor.
  • Understand client business objectives, marketing goals, and challenges to propose tailored solutions.
  • Conduct presentations & product demos to showcase the capabilities and advantages of the Yahoo native solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.



Consultative Selling and Solution Development:

  • Analyze client needs and objectives, leveraging your expertise in programmatic, social, and content marketing to develop customized solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and product development, to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients.



Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to provide customer feedback, contribute to product roadmap discussions, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the account management team to ensure seamless onboarding, campaign execution, and optimization for clients.
  • Coordinate with the finance and legal departments to negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with company policies.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required (advanced degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in digital advertising sales, preferably within the programmatic advertising ecosystem.
  • In-depth knowledge of demand-side platforms (DSPs) and programmatic advertising technologies.
  • Strong understanding of the digital advertising landscape, including trends, challenges, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to close deals and exceed revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to leverage data to drive strategic decision-making.
