Job Description

The Inventory/Shipping/Receiving Lead supports the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to the customer base. The person in this position also supervises and coordinates activities of employees engaged in verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments.

Essential Functions: Changed from Key Duties and Responsibilities

Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines Serve as a working supervisor who will assist in shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, checking in materials and or product, and match ASN and BOMs Read and verify customer manifest, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved gathered or shipped. Coordinate dock traffic, ensures that all trucks must sign in and out of facility Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer programs. Input data into shipping and receiving schedule. Confer with managers inside and outside the distribution center to ensure coordination of other functions such as production, inventory management and quality assurance. Each employee is responsible for performing these functions in a safe manner and providing quality service and product Prepare all shipping and receiving documents in a timely and accurate manner. Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

Minimum 2 years related experience or training in the field of shipping, receiving and warehouse supervision
