How You'll Perform the Role

Perform various duties to maintain production machines and equipment.
Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service.
Provides emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Performs mechanic skills including but not limited to, mechanical, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Will use a variety of hand and power tools.
Prepares machine for production by positioning and securing dies, stops, guides, and turntables.
Sets- up station by receiving orders, gathering materials and notifying material handlers for required materials.
Regulates machine by setting and adjusting controls.
Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Provide leadership and direction to the team for day-to-day activities
Train current and new employees on machines
What We Need From You

Eligible to work in the United States.
Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
Work overtime as required.
Basic computer skills
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
Minimum of 10 years of experience with Garant machines.
Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs, and procedures required.
Ability to successfully multitask in a fast-paced environment.
The commitment to stay safe and to continue to learn and develop.
Must have experience/strong mechanical background and aptitude.
Must have ability to troubleshoot issues.
Be on call for any issues that may arise.
