Job Description
- Perform a wide variety of general building maintenance repairs and services.
- Daily, weekly, monthly and semi-annual maintenance of following components using our ISO log sheets. Compressors, drier, slitter line, extruders, chiller, and others as deemed necessary.
- Daily inspection of 3 forklifts per OSHA standards
- Learn and understand all production equipment to help maintain, troubleshoot and repair as needed.
- Police and transport all disposable cardboard and plastic to the recycle containers
- Dump scrap metal hoppers and slit edge scrap in outside scrap container.
- Monitor and maintain chemical dispenser area
- Assist with repairs, overhauls, and new builds of production machines
- Monitor and dispose of shop air compressor condensation
- Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned
- Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned
- Assist with cleaning office windows, carpet, and tile if called upon
- Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors.
- Replace washers, faucets, and seals on malfunctioning plumbing equipment; repair leaky faucets, toilets, clear clogged drains, and replace light bulbs.
- Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company guidelines.
- Perform other duties as requested or as deemed appropriate.
- Assure all company policies and procedures are followed.
