What will you be doing?

The U.S. Executive CPG Industry Advisory Principal role is a critical part of Circana's Global CPG & Foodservice Commercial advisory team, which serves to guide CPG & foodservice manufacturers, retailers and operators with true clarity on industry trends and growth strategy.

The US CPG Principal will be responsible for leading, building and delivering thought leadership content across a wide range of U.S. CPG clients. This leader will be accountable for providing wide CPG industry expertise, keeping a close pulse on emerging topics in the industry, using innovative and analytical thinking to drive though-provoking analysis, leveraging Circana's wide range of assets, and managing a team of 2-3 analysts to deliver top-notch guidance to senior-level executives. As part of the commercial organization, this person must work closely with commercial teams to understand client challenges and direct efforts to address them while showcasing Circana's capabilities.

    • Align with cross-functional partners to form total Circana point of view
    • Maintain close internal partnerships to maximize client impact
    • Manage and develop team of 2-3 analysts to develop future potential
Requirements
  • Eight or more years experience in consulting, strategy or analytics for CPG, food or retail-oriented businesses
  • Rigorous, practical, analytical and fact-based approach to problem solving/solution implementation
  • Proven skills to confidently "fill in the blanks" when only 70% of the facts are at hand
  • Innovative, non-traditional approach to problem identification and resolution
  • Proven ability to maintain sharp focus amidst multiple priorities; keen ability to prioritize and manage time/teams/projects
  • Executive poise and presence
  • Highly collaborative; proven skills managing cross-functional project teams
  • Proven ability to develop and coach a team

This position can be located in the following area(s): REMOTE

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $145,000 to $190,000.

This job is also eligible for 15% bonus pay.
