Job Description
Job Title: Logistics Analyst
Location: Lake County, Illinois, 60065
Duration: 12 Months
Position is fully onsite at Lake County Distribution Center (K2) with standard working hours (7am-4pm, 8am-5pm)
(steel toe shoes are required in the Warehouse)
Brief synopsis -
This position will help support the ADD Logistics team with scheduling, monitoring, and tracking of inbound/outbound shipments from Lake County Distribution Team
Coordinate the transfer of inventory to/from 3PL (3rd party logistics) warehouse to Lake County Distribution Center
Monitor inventory levels to ensure proactive coordination of materials
Manage trailer/container yard to ensure adequate space
Support logistics related projects
Education min. / Experience min.-
Highschool degree required; Bachelors degree preferred
Top 5 skills/requirements -
Logistics / Transportation experience
Scheduling / Delivery coordination
3PL warehouse inventory management
Data / Analytics experience (not required, but would be beneficial)
Tracking / Tracing / Monitoring shipments
Skillset that will complimented the role-
Problem solving skills
Self-motivated / minimal supervision
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to leverage data - intermediate skills with Microsoft tools (excel, PowerPoint, outlook, etc)
