Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- MUST have experience in repair activities of all major brands of fitness equipment (ie. Precor, Life Fitness, Matrix and Stairmaster).
- Comfortable talking to customers.
- Ability to use technology to communicate (ie. Email and texting) and the ability to use technology to upgrade software on equipment (ie. download and load software to/from a jump drive).
- Patience and a professional respectful demeanor.
- Travel expected in and around the Chicagoland area and to Wisconsin on a limited basis.
- Self-starter/motivator and good time manager.
- Able to work with little to no direct management looking over your shoulder – we empower our employees and do not like to micromanage.
- Resourceful problem solver.
- A minimum of 2 professional references.
- Ability to work 3-4 days a week required.
- Must have an extremely reliable track record.
- Must have reliable personal transportation that can transport tools and parts safely.
- On-call may be necessary for extreme cases only.
- Create accurate and consistent customer deliverables – share and train with others to support corporate sales and marketing goals.
- Help coordinate management of accounts and transition of new services to grow (and maintain) positive customer relationships.
