Under general direction, responsible for the preparation of more complex tax related projects and returns associated with the maintenance and submission of U.S. federal, state & local and international taxation. - Maintain and ensure tax compliance of all legal entities, including the review of tax returns prepared by outside advisers. Coordinate the preparation of tax returns and work with General Accounting to accumulate financial information used to file the Companys tax returns. - Assist with a diverse range of tax planning, compliance, research, audit and litigation activities, including controlling, administering and managing all phases of tax integration on new acquisitions. - Interface closely with senior corporate and business unit leaders to develop and implement strategies which minimize tax liability of the Company. - Perform research and analysis related to new business initiatives as well as lead or support projects to improve tax processes and enhance efficiencies. - Perform or coordinate day-to-day activities to meet departmental objectives using allocated resources; demonstrate mastery in taxation and generalist knowledge of finance. - Assist in the development and growth of Tax Analysts. And much more! Education - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Relevant Work Experience - At least 3 years of broad experience in corporate taxation. - Experience with several of the following common tax planning areas: Transactional structuring, Check the Box Principles, U.S. Tax Treaty Research, Intellectual and Intangible Property Planning, Business structuring alternatives, Tax incentive opportunities, Accounting for Income Tax FAS 109, IC DISC, Transfer Pricing or Mergers and Acquisitions. Certification / Licensure - CPA with a Master's in Taxation (MST). Additional - Advance skill level in planning, research, and corporate tax compliance. - Extensive knowledge of income, sales and use, excise, property and/or international taxes.
