Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Azure Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud COE (Center of Excellence) team. The Sr. Azure Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure. This role will require strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and implement highly available and scalable Azure cloud solutions that meet business requirement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements
  • Deploy, manage and monitor Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, and Security
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures
  • Automate the deployment and management of infrastructure and applications using Terraform, Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and other automation tools
  • Provide technical leadership in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions
  • Ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of cloud resources
  • Implement and maintain cloud security measures, including access control and data encryption
  • Manage cloud costs and optimize resource utilization
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

 

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Azure
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, and Security
  • Experience in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible and Jenkins
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity concepts and technologies
  • Experience building and supporting mission-critical infrastructure in Cloud for critical applications
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills to drive to root cause
  • Strong desire to deliver exceptional results in a quickly growing company
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD tools and concepts - Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, Artifactory
  • Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-204, or AZ-303 are preferred
