About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our AI product development team.You will play a crucial role in defining requirements, as we continue building Crowe's portfolio of AI-powered solutions.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders from Crowe's market-facing business units, as well as development team members from Applied AI and Machine Learning (model), Product Engineering (software), and Process Optimization (automation), to gather and analyze business needs and translate them into clear and concise requirements.

Your key contributions are to user stories, testing requirements, and supporting documentation, in addition tothe thorough analysis and validation of requirements to minimize ambiguity and support effective collaboration across development teams.

Success in this role looks like detailed, well-maintainedrequirements aligned to a solution'svision and strategic goals; it looks like productive collaboration with both business and technical stakeholders.

The AI world is rapidly evolving, as is our Crowe Data Science product portfolio. The ideal candidate is effective at early-stage requirementsgathering and refinement, as youwill be asked to support demand intake conversations and pivot between AI solutions over time.

Required Skills

Applied Experience. 1-2+ years, including experience writing user stories/requirementson project(s) with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities or initiatives.

Product Development Awareness. Common understanding of Product Development and Software Development Life Cycles. Bonus points for experience in MLOps and AI product development.

Attention to detail. Ensuring thorough and accurate documentation of requirements.

Analytical and Problem-solving Skills. The ability to navigate conflicting perspectives and ambiguous requirements with an eye on business context and customer need.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills. Facilitating collaboration and consensus-building among diverse stakeholders.

Growth Mindset. Activelylooks for opportunities to try and learn new things. Hungry to try new tools and techniques or try new areas of the business to test yourself.

Preferred Skills

Data Science and Machine Learning Background: Leverage your background in data science or machine learning (or your curiosity in this area!) to understand the technical aspects of the product and share it with business stakeholders.

Tooling. Exposure to Azure DevOps, Gitlab/Github, Jira, or similar tools.

Certification. Business Analyst, Agile, or Scrum-related certifications.

Professional Services Experience. You're familiar with the landscape of a professional services firm and interested in engaging with the unique value proposition of products associated with a diverse range of services, from advising and consulting to tax and public accounting.
