What is the MCIC
The Mobile Customer Insights Center is a mobile Center of Excellence extension of our Global Customer Insights Center based out of Hershey, PA. These centers are recognized within the industry, as a Unique Competitive Advantage developed to reflect and bring to life Hershey's thought leadership on Shopper Insight based Category Growth Initiatives and solutions. Using this industry leading asset this position will direct and coordinate the Hershey customer teams to schedule, plan, prepare, and execute a best-in class collaborative business development experience that is unmatched within our industry.
Job Description:
Be a key contributor in an extensive cross functional team. Nurture and elevate relationships both internally and externally with our suppliers to deliver industry leading meetings
Engage with business partners to answer questions about the asset and how it could benefit their business
Collaborate with internal Catman teams and ReSET teams to develop and integrate the latest and greatest insights to have maximum impact at customer meetings
Manage and coordinate the travel schedule to allow for maximum meeting presence in a region to allow for flexibility and account for driver DOT hours
Build extensive knowledge of all content and strategies at a Subject Matter Expert level. Comfortable and confident to present and field questions to customers in a face-to-face environment.
Provide feedback to Sales, Catman and ReSET leaders as to how customers are responding to content to evolve the presentation materials for future meetings
Track progress of meeting initiatives discussed with customers 60/120/200+ days post meeting in order to track the value of each meeting being delivered back to the company
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree Required
Experience: 5+ years CPG experience in sales/category management
Skills: This position requires relevant retail solutions experience within the CPG industry, analytical skills, strong planning and project management skills, understanding of consumer/shopper behavior and market research strategies, knowledge of consumer sales industry trends and complete working knowledge of confection go to market strategies. Preferred candidates should possess strong mechanical and electronic knowledge with an ability to problem solve quickly under pressure. Strong event planning and organizational skills are required. Confident public speaking and presentation experience is a plus.
Travel: Ability to travel 50-60%
