Your Job
Molex is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to coordinate the most efficient process of inbound and outbound intercompany freight for the Supply Chain Hubs. Determine the cost to Molex and the on-time delivery to our customers by working with Customer Service, Operations and Transportation Teams to determine best balance for transportation modes.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, flexible, patient and show genuine interest in supporting the Molex KPI's. The candidate will also have an organized approach, be expected to work independently and collaborate within a high-pressure environment.

The Molex Supply Chain Hub in Bolingbrook, IL is the flagship distribution facility for Molex Americas delivering last-mile-magic to industrial, automotive, and electrical distributors.

What You Will Do

Compare current supply to demand to optimize material flow, cost and on-time customer delivery.
Coordinate with Molex International sites to optimize inbound and outbound container usage and transportation cost.
Coordinate with the Transportation team to schedule pickups.
Communicate with Customer Service to reduce Ready to Pick Up freight.
Be proficient in SAP in extracting weights & dim information needed to calculate freight costs.
Follow up with Bolingbrook operations to ensure priority shipments are complete and communicate updates back to Customer service in a timely fashion.
Understand and work in the SAP MRP planning module.
Understand SAP Delivery Note system and be able to run SAP reports pertaining to Delivery Note status.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

High School Diploma
5+ years of experience in Supply Chain and data analytics.
Proficient SAP utilization and Business Process knowledge related to Warehouse operations.
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills include the ability to produce graphs and tables, use spreadsheets efficiently, and perform calculations and automation to process large volumes of data and report statistical outcomes & solutions.
Experience with international shipments and logistics.

What Will Put You Ahead:

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, or related field.
Logistic and Warehouse Operations experience.
Certified Customs Specialist Certification.
