Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

+ Manages and maintains the interfaces between Epic and other 3rd party systems.

+ Develops, tests, and troubleshoots Epic interfaces, ensuring they meet clinical and business needs.

+ Focuses on the technical aspects of data integration.

+ Configures and optimizes interfaces, ensuring high performance and reliability.

+ Provides day-to-day support and issue resolution.

+ Monitors interfaces, resolves incidents, and ensures continuous operation, Use monitoring tools to track interface performance and detect issues

+ Manages the underlying infrastructure.

+ Ensures servers and networks supporting the interfaces are functioning correctly.

+ Oversees projects involving interface implementations or upgrades.

+ Diagnose and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to healthcare services.

+ Coordinates between teams, manages timelines, and ensures project goals are met.

+ Manage, Resolve, triage and document incidents, including their resolution and impact.

+ Create and modify interfaces to meet changing clinical and business requirements.

+ Thoroughly test interfaces to ensure they function correctly and meet performance standards.

+ Maintain detailed documentation of interfaces, including configurations, workflows, and changes.

+ Develop user guides and training materials to support end-users and IT staff.

+ Liaise with vendors for support and to stay updated on best practices and new features

+ Work with Epic TS to resolve any Interface issue and configuring AIPs

+ Collaborate with Client team on the intake, governance, change management processes

+ Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management

+ Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

Our OTT team brings clients the knowledge of industry leaders who understand the relevant processes and technologies for their industry-and apply them with a process and mindset that tailors transformational change to their specific organization.

Qualifications

Required

+ At least 8 years’ experience working on system integrations: Epic Bridges implementation and support activities , API, Web services, XML and HL7 data exchange

+ At least 3 years’ experience working with Epic Interconnect, CareEverywhere and ESB Architecture

+ EPIC Bridges certification required

+ Strong knowledge in Epic Hospital workflows

+ Previous HL7 experience developing interfaces. Interface development to include but not be limited to ADT, SIU, ORM, DFT, MDM, and ORU interfaces in Clinical, Revenue Cycle and Administrative applications.

+ FHIR, CCDA and XML experience desired.

+ Experience in Epic upgrade, cut over planning and reviewing NOVA notes

+ Advanced knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, indexes, data types, table structures, and database design principles, .Net and XML experience a plus.

+ Experience developing interfaces using either the Rhapsody Integration Engine, Cloverleaf, Bridges, Corepoint, Iguana, or Ensemble preferred

+ Expert analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Advanced knowledge of MS Office products.

+ Advanced computing, analytical and organizational skills.

+ Superior written and verbal communication skills.

+ The ability to provide consistent, detailed analysis and follow through the project.

+ Exceptional interpersonal skills – demonstrating ability to successfully work with internal and external clients at all levels of responsibility.

+ Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.

+ Must be able to work in PST time zone.

+ Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

+ Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

+ Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

+ The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102750 to $180000.
