The student worker will convert book text into an alternative digital format, utilizing computers as the primary tool. The student worker also may assist in video captioning and perform various clerical duties. This position provides support to the ADRC document conversion lab.

Required Qualification(s)

- Must be a CLC student enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours for fall

- Must have or maintain a 2.0 GPA

- Must have excellent communication and human interaction skills

- Must be able to maintain confidentiality

- Computer knowledge

Desired Qualification(s)

- Ability to type 50 wpm

Pay Rate $14.00 Location Grayslake Total Hours per week 10-20 Work Schedule

Flexible. Monday-Friday 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. – 10 hours minimum, no more than 20 hours per week. Selected student(s) may start as early as August 19 and must stop working by either December 13 or an end date determined by the Career & Job Placement Center.
